Mumbai Indians have unveiled their new jersey for 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022). The jersey is created by designer-duo Shantnu and Nikhil.
“The jersey is the field where Courage, Camaraderie and Digi-tech – virtues of the new Gen Z world – play out. Add to that a radical Camo-tech design and what you have is a creative expression of all that Mumbai Indians means to its dynamic millennial and youth fans,” Mumbai Indians said in a statement.

Cobalt blue continues to be the primary colour of the Mumbai Indians kit and many changes haven’t been made in the upper half either. The bottom half of the jersey has a structured design from the combination of cobalt blue and navy blue. One can also see some emblems in black colour. The golden stripes at the side are also complimenting the blue colour pretty well.

“Drawing inspiration from the New Blood, New Spirit and New India, this year’s Mumbai Indians jersey is a culmination of courage and the camaraderie of the team. The jersey is a new symbol of authority which is symbolised by the New age Tech details unified with Classic Camouflage pattern. We have designed one of its kind – “Camo Tech” which is for the battalion in blue. It combines the power of armour and agility which signifies the power-packed game Mumbai Indian ensures for the league,” Shantnu and Nikhil said.
