India were 265/5 when they started the Day 2 of the second Test match of the India Tour of West Indies 2019 that is being played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica. Day 1 was dominated by West Indies but after Day 2 India are dominating in the match.

On Day 2 India didn’t have a great start, losing Rishabh Pant on the first ball of the day. Soon Ravindra Jadeja was also sent back to the pavilion by Rahkeem Cornwall and India were 302-7. But then came the 112 runs partnership between Hanuma Vihari and Ishant Sharma; Hanuma Vihari scored his maiden century while Ishant Sharma scored his maiden fifty. India finished the first inning at 416/10, a huge score at this pitch.
West Indies bowlers struggled to take Indian lower-order wickets, India lost first 5 wickets for 202 runs and later 5 wickets for 414 runs. West Indies skipper took 5 wickets and Rahkeem Cornwall 3-wickets while Kraigg Brathwaite and Kemar Roach took 1-1 wicket each.
West Indies came to bat but it was not a great start, lost John Campbell for at 9. Soon Jasprit Bumrah sent Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Kraigg Brathwaite to pavilion in three consecutive balls to complete his maiden hat-trick; third India bowlers to take a hat-trick in Test after Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan. West Indies were 87-7 at stumps with Jahmar Hamilton and Rahkeem Cornwall on the crease. Jasprit Bumrah has taken 6 wickets while Mohammed Shami has one to his name.
