Chennai Super Kings off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has pulled out of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) due to personal reason.
Harbhajan Singh is the second CSK player after Suresh Raina to withdraw his name from this year’s IPL, citing personal reasons. While Raina had returned home after travelling with the team to the UAE, Harbhajan had remained in India.
Harbhajan Singh conveyed his decision to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Friday and wrote about on twitter.
“Dear Friends I will not be playing IPL this year due to personal reasons. These are difficult times and I would expect some privacy as I spend time with my family. @ChennaiIPL CSK management has been extremely supportive and I wish them a great IPL Stay safe and Jai Hind,” Harbhajan Singh wrote on Twitter.
