Mumbai Indians issued a statement just before the toss against Chennai Super Kings on October 23 confirmed that Sharma had suffered the injury during the Mumbai Indians game, against the Kings XI in Dubai on October 18, which the Kings XI won after a double Super Over. \u201cRohit has made good progress over last four days, while the management is taking one day at a time monitoring the recovery process in consultancy with BCCI,\u201d the statement said.
