Indian Super League (ISL) side, FC Goa is undergoing a significant change in its leadership structure. Akshay Tandon, the co-owner and guiding force as President, will be stepping back from his day-to-day operational duties.
During his tenure as President, Akshay Tandon has presided over a transformative period in FC Goa’s history. Under his leadership, the Club made significant strides in youth development and grassroots football, emphasising the importance of nurturing local talent.
“My journey with FC Goa has been one of pride and fulfilment. I am proud of what we have accomplished at the Club, particularly in our commitment to youth development and grassroots football,” he added.
“While I venture into diverse arenas, my heart and dedication remain embedded with FC Goa,” Akshay Tandon said.
In tandem with this transition, FC Goa also announced that Nandan Piramal will be taking over as the President of the Club and Ravi Puskur will be taking on a new and expanded role within the organization as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Club.

Piramal, known for his previous ownership and successful management of Pune FC in the I-League, is poised to lead the Club with a fresh perspective and a wealth of experience.
FC Goa owner Jaydev Mody commented, “We are delighted to have Nandan join our leadership team as President. His passion for the sport and his deep understanding of football’s impact on communities align perfectly with our vision for FC Goa.”
“Akshay has led the team with great passion and diligence,” said Piramal.
“I look forward to working closely with him and the Club to build on our past successes and deliver a team that our fans continue to love and support,” he added.
“I am thrilled and honored to accept the role of CEO at FC Goa,” remarked Ravi Puskur.
“We have a fantastic team both on and off the field, and I am committed to working closely with our ownership and partners to build on our successes and propel the Club to new heights,” he said.
The Club’s ownership structure stands unaltered. Jaydev Mody, Virat Kohli and Akshay Tandon will retain their stakes.
