Ahead of the 14th season of Indian Premier League auction (IPL 2021 Auction), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have traded Australian pacer Daniel Sams and all-rounder, Harshal Patel, from the Delhi Capitals (DC) in all-cash deal.
In a statement, Delhi Capitals said, “Delhi Capitals would like to announce that all-rounders Harshal Patel and Daniel Sams have been traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the IPL 2021 Auction. Everyone at Delhi Capitals would like to thank the duo for their contribution and would like to wish them the very best for their respective futures.”
Daniel Sams was picked by Delhi Capitals as Jason Roy replacement ahead of the IPL 2020. In IPL 2020, Daniels Sams played 3 matches for Delhi Capitals but was unable to pick a single wicket.
All-rounder Harshal Patel was picked by Delhi in IPL 2018 auction and had played 12 matches for them. In 12 matches, Patel had scored 81 runs and taken 12 wickets.
