Ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), Mumbai Indians (MI) named Kwena Maphaka as a replacement for injured Dilshan Madushanka. Dilshan Madushanka will be joining the side for his base price of INR 50 Lakhs.
Dilshan Madushanka was ruled out of IPL 2024 due to an injury. Kwena Maphaka – the left-arm pacer – represented South Africa at the recently concluded ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup and was named the Player of the Tournament.
Mumbai Indians will begin their campaign against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 24, Sunday.
