Ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL 2023-24), Isak Vanlalruatfela, popularly known as Isak Ralte has signed a new contract extending his stay with Odisha FC until 2026.
The Mizoram-born winger made his debut for the club in 2020 and capped off an impactful 2022-23 season, in which he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists, by winning the ‘Emerging Player of the Month (February)’ and the Hero of the Match award for his performance against Hyderabad FC.

Isak said, “Odisha is now like my second home, and I am extremely happy to have extended my contract with the Kalinga Warriors. Everyone at the club has been supportive through my ups and downs, making this an easy choice.”
“Odisha FC feels like family to me, and I would like to express my gratitude to the owners and management for their trust in me. I am thrilled about the upcoming season and confident we will build upon our previous achievements. Ama Team, Ama Game!” he added.

Head Coach Sergio Lobera expressed his delight at the young wingers’ extension, “Isak is a technically very good player, talented, with a great future and also a present. It is good news to ensure his talent for the coming years. We will continue to grow together.”
Club President Raj Athwal said, “Isak is a very talented player as he has shown time and again what he’s capable of last season. With several outstanding performances, there was no doubt in extending Isak’s stay at the club.”
