On Sunday, Sri Lanka Cricket announced the revised-schedule of the opening season of Lanka Premier League (LPL 2020) which will be played from November 26 to December 16, 2020, at Mahinda Rajapakse International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota, Sri Lanka.
The tournament is shifted a day before of the revised dates announced by the Sri Lanka Cricket on November 6.
Earlier the tournament was scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 13, 2020, across two international venues of Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and Suriyawewa Mahinda Rajapakse International Cricket Stadium.
