MS Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will leave for UAE on August 21 as informed by CSK CEO, Kasi Viswanathan. Dubai will be the base camp for CSK.
CSK will have a training camp in Chennai at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) from August 16 before leaving for Dubai on August 21.
“The team will start practising at Chepauk mostly by August 16. Dhoni and Raina, along with other team members, would arrive by August 14-15, and we would leave for UAE around August 21,” CSK CEO, Kasi Viswanathan said.
Earlier he had said that the MS Dhoni will probably for CSK till IPL 2022.
Speaking to India Today, CSK CEO, he said, “Yes. We can expect MS Dhoni to be part of both (2020 and 2021 seasons) and probably for even the next year, 2022.”
