Rajasthan Royals fielding coach Dishant Yagnik has tested positive for coronavirus just a few days before team leaving for UAE for the 13th season of Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).
Dishant Yagnik himself and franchise Rajasthan Royals have confirmed that Yagnik test was held in his hometown Udaipur. He has been not close to any players for the last 10 days. Other than Yagnik all the other members of Rajasthan Royals have tested negative.
“Hi all, I have tested COVID +. Pls get tested if you have been in contact with me in the last 10 days. Inline wd BCCI protocols I will be now quarantining for 14 days. I will then need 2 negative tests b4 joining the team @rajasthanroyals in UAE. Thx 4 yr blessings & good wishes!,” Dishant Yagnik tweeted.

“Our fielding coach @Dishantyagnik77 has tested positive for COVID-19 in an extra round of testing done by the franchise. All other franchise members have tested negative to date,” tweeted informing the Dishant Yagnik test positive.

Dishant has been advised to get admitted to hospital for 14 days quarantine. Post 14 days, Dishant will undergo two tests as per BCCI protocols. On return of negative, he will be allowed to join the teams after self-isolating for 6 days and will undergo the third test on arrival in UAE.
