IPL Auction 2020 to be held on 19 December (Thursday) in Kolkata. Cricket viewers are excited as they are heading more closer to the 13th season of India Premier League. Here is everything you should know before the IPL Auction 2020:
1) Purse Available
The eight franchises have a total available purse of Rs 207.65 crore. Breakdown of purse value of each franchise are listed below:

A total of 73 spots are available in eight franchise team including 29 overseas slots. A total of 186 Indian players, 143 overseas players & 3 players from Associate Nations will be up for grabs. Slots availability for each team are broken down below:

3) RTM (Right To Match)
If you don’t know, this time RTM (Right to Match) will be not available to the franchise. Right to Match card allows the franchise to buy back its player during the auction by matching the highest bid made for the player by another franchise once the bidding is over.
