Indian ace sprinter Hima Das has revealed that MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is her favourite Indian Premier League (IPL).
In an Instagram chat with veteran India batsman and CSK all-rounder Suresh Raina, Hima said, “I like CSK because of Dhoni bhaiya and you.”
Chennai Super Kings are the most successful IPL team and have won three IPL title (2010, 2011 and 2018), MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina was part of the winning team.
When Raina asked what will she do once the lockdown will be lifted Das replied, “I will go to the ground. Since we are not allowed to go to the ground, I am doing workouts in the room. We have a 30-40 metre long lawn, and I am utilising it for exercise. Started doing yoga and mind exercise. Eating habits have also changed. I have stopped eating meat and I am consuming more fruits and water. As we have time to prepare for the Olympics. I will try my hard to perform well in the games.”
The 2020 Tokyo Olympic have postponed to 2021 due to accelerating COVID-19 pandemic will now commence from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
Hima Das also talked about her lockdown lesson, she said, “I have learnt a few things during the lockdown: 1. Dedication. 2. We used to go out to eat, which is not healthy 3. We can stay at home and live life without going out unnecessarily.”
