On Tuesday, Kerala Blasters FC announced data and analytics partnership with DataPOWA. Kerala Blasters FC is the first sports club in India to partner with DataPOWA, the UK headquartered technology company offering specialist data and marketing services to the sports market.
DataPOWA’s clients include blue-chip brands (sports sponsors), gaming companies, and sports rights holders. DataPOWA uses AI & machine learning to analyze the exposure and prominence of brand logos across linear broadcast TV, video, and image assets on social media to calculate the media value. In 2019 it launched the AI software POWA index, a measurement of power, AI valuation, prediction, and ranking system, there are now over 2,500 teams, leagues, and events ranked.
DataPOWA offers excellent opportunities to Kerala Blasters FC which include access to data-driven, real-time sports sponsorship valuation engine POWA index, a platform that will incorporate data from social and digital platforms, and fan interactions across football and the wider sports marketplace.
