Jamshedpur FC ropes TataMD CHECK as the Official Healthcare Partner for the seventh season of Indian Super League (ISL 2020-21). Tata Medical and Diagnostics (Tata MD), the new healthcare venture of the Tata group, recently launched ‘The New Standard in COVID Testing’ – TataMD CHECK – across the country. This testing solution is the world’s first CRISPR Cas-9 based diagnostic test.
On sealing the partnership, Mr Girish Krishnamurthy CEO, Tata Medical and Diagnostic Limited said, “We are delighted to partner with Jamshedpur FC to help create awareness among a growing football fan base about how TataMD CHECK, the latest CRISPR-based testing solutions can help control the pandemic quickly and efficiently and lead us back to the resumption of normal lives, including having passionate fans backfilling the stadiums. As part of the deal, the TataMD CHECK logo will be visible on the Jamshedpur FC jersey along with various other methods to spread awareness. TataMD CHECK, powered by FELUDA, is the world’s first COVID-19 diagnostic test based on the DNA genome editing tool CRISPR Cas-9.
