The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the 13th season (IPL 2020 Auction) had held on 19 December 2019 and it has shown surprises. The IPL 2020 Auction turned out to be plenty of surprises.

Pat Cummins became the most expensive players in this season auction. Dale Steyn goes sold unsold for 2 times and was grabbed by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the third bid. Some uncapped youngsters went for big money; Priyam Garg and Virat Singh for whopping Rs 1.90 crore against the base price of Rs 20 Lakhs. While on the other hand, international players like Yusuf Pathan, Liam Plunket, Adam Zampa and Tim Southee god s unsold.
